I am Billings-raised, a graduate of Billings Public Schools and Montana State University, an 11-year Billings School Board trustee, a successful small business owner, and a proud mother of four and stepmother of three. I understand being a struggling single mother in Montana trying to put a roof overhead and food on the table - because I was one.

For 25 years, I have also known what it’s like to work overtime, seven days a week, to keep the doors open on a small business to make payroll for employees depending on our success. With a degree in Microbiology - Environmental Health, I understand what it means to appreciate and to protect the great outdoors surrounding us in Montana.

And, most recently, as a school board trustee, I understand the difficult balance between ensuring the next generation has quality schools and great teachers while keeping taxes as low as possible, especially for those on fixed incomes.
